Goose Rock Elementary School Mission Statement
 

The vision of Goose Rock Elementary is to provide all students a quality, meaningful education utilizing family, school, and community interaction to produce a responsible individual who possesses high expectations, as well as, the skills and knowledge necessary for a higher education that will provide them the necessary skills to become productive citizens in our society.

Our Community

The community is an integral part of the education of a child.  We ascribe to the philosophy that it truly "takes a village to raise a child".  Having strong community partnerships is essential to our school district's success, and we too want to be a good partner with our local partners in order to move our entire county forward.

Last Friday, the students and staff at Goose Rock Elementary hosted their first ever Color Run titled “Colors for Cancer.” While this was a fun event for the kids to kick off K-Prep testing there was a deeper meaning for coordinating this event.
