Camp Adventure: Summer School Program Summer Camp

Camp Adventur is a free "Summer Boost Camp" for th elementary students of Clay COunty who have completed grades K-5 during the 2016-2017 school year.

Date: May 22, 2017 - June 29, 2017

Time: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Camp registration is May 18th from 9 am-12 noon at Manchester Elementary

Kindergarten Registration Registration

Kindergarten registration will be the week of Monday, May 15, 2017 through Thursday May 18, 2017 at each elementary school.  Register your child at the elementary school they will attend between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on the dates listed above.  For more information contact your elementary school.

Public Forum

A public forum will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 regarding the annual school nutrition and physical activity environment report seeking public input for the advancement of these programs.  The forum will be held at the Clay County Board of Education located at 128 Richmond Road Manchester, Kentucky.

New Immunization Requirement for 2018-2019 hep a

Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, all students are required to have a series of two Hepatitis A vaccines, spaced six months apart.  Students may enroll in school as long as the first dose of the vaccine has been administered.  Students aged 16 years or older must show proof of having two doses of Meningococcal ACWY Vaccine  (MedACWY) to attend school.  If the first dose of MenACWY was received at age 16 or older, the second dose is not required for school entry. If you have questions, contact  Amy Janutolo at 598-2168.

Monitoring Weather

Clay County School officials are closely monitoring the weather forecast for the evening of January 7 and morning of January 8.  A final decision regarding the status of school will be made in the morning.  As always, the safety of students and staff will be the determining factor.
